Summary

Find out how PhotoRobot handles 360 product photography of glass objects in less than 60 seconds using the Case_850 turntable. This video demonstrates how we capture 24 still images and a product 360, automatically post-process, and instantly publish images online. It also answers a common question about PhotoRobot. Learn how we are able to photograph glass items with open photography systems, unlike competing box-like solutions. Follow the workflow: from operating PhotoRobot Controls_App, to photographing a glass award, optimizing images by presets, and cloud-based publishing. All in under 1 minute! Our operator guides you through capture to web-ready images: including image cropping, centering, and background removal for the web.

00:04 People often ask us how PhotoRobot, being an open design, handles glass. Instead of just talking about it, why don't I show you?

00:11 For that, I'll use this CASE850 with an 85 cm glass turntable. This is a portable design, so it can be folded up - and transported even in a personal car.

00:21 We have also installed this custom portal with a suspended makeshift paper tent, which we have found to work better than most ready-made solutions on the market.

00:30 We'll be shooting a spin of 24 images of this glass award sent to us by one of our Canadian clients. And you will see that it takes less than one minute to shoot, post-process and publish the images in the cloud. Let me place this on the turntable.

00:50 OK, now I can go ahead and trigger the photography sequence. You will see that it takes less than 20 seconds to capture those 24 images and upload them to the cloud.

01:03 When that is done, we will post-process them according to the settings stored in the preset. Let's do just that.

01:10 Now, you see a progress bar has appeared. And, when that has reached its end, you will know that the images have been automatically cropped, automatically centered and the background has been removed. All of that in the cloud and ready to be linked to from any number of Web pages.

01:27 And now it's done. So let's check out the results. I think it looks great. Thank you very much for watching.
